Employment Policies

Sensis is an equal opportunities employer. We run ongoing internal training schemes for our employees and actively encourage career development and promotion from within. It is our belief that this strategy has contributed to the fact that employee retention is very high resulting in an experienced work force.

Equal Opportunities

Sensis is committed to Equal Opportunities and recognises that some groups and individuals can be discriminated against when it comes to employment. It is our intention to address all areas of discrimination, including embodying statutory law and the adoption of action to eliminate injustices. The Company’s policy on equal opportunities is applicable to all members of its staff, and also aims to encourage co-operation from contractors, suppliers and others employed by the Company.

Environmental Policies

Sensis recognises that its activities have certain environmental implications in both the long and short term. We source our cleaning products from companies that are both ethically and environmentally mindful of their operating activities. For clients that want to put a large emphasis on using specifically produced ‘Eco Friendly’ cleaning products we can supply a full range.

The Environmental Policy of the company will strive to:

  • Comply with legal requirements.
  • Encourage personal effort on the part of all employees and subcontractors to avoid and prevent environmental damage.
  • Provide and exhibit this policy and such written instructions as are necessary to aid its implementation.
  • Review this policy at 12 monthly intervals.
